ALFATRADIOL

The active ingredient in Alfatradiol is 17a-Estradiol. Unlike 17b-Estradiol (also commonly known as Estrogen) 17a-Estradiol has a very low binding affinity to estrogen receptors and does not have feminizing effects.

This compound inhibits the conversion of testosterone to the metabolite dihydrotestosterone (DHT) by suppressing 5α-reductase activity. In addition, by inhibiting 17β-dehydrogenase, it impedes the conversion process of androstenedione to scalp testosterone, resulting in a reduction in the syntheses of both scalp testosterone and scalp DHT.

It also accelerates the conversion of testosterone to estradiol by stimulating aromatase and stimulates the generation of hair follicular matrix cells which has been clinically proven to increase the amount of anagen hairs (density) on both men and women without systemic side effects nor serum hormonal changes.

No side effects have been reported in any clinical study aside from local irritation from alcohol carriers which are resolved by offering it in a Trichosol alcohol free formula.

Alfatradiol can be ordered in a Liposomal solution (Lipotradiol) or in an alcohol-free solution (Trichotradiol) at 0.025%Top of Form

Each bottle contains 60ml of 17a-Estradiol 0.025% and is stable for 120 days.

Recommended dosage: 1ml to 3ml daily

Store at room temperature or refrigerator away from direct light.
